Application
Gibault-couplings are used to connect asbestos-cement pipes in pressurized pipelines.
Note: Gibault joints can also be used to connect cast iron or rigid PVC pipes, but then the diameter D1 must be adjusted to the outside diameter of the pipe.
Performance
We make Gibault-couplings of nominal diameters DN 50 to DN 1000 (mm) from structural steels.
On request, we also make Gibault fittings for pipes made of cast iron or hard PVC, assuming that we are informed of the outer diameter and working pressure.
Material
Gibault joints are also made of structural steel, and the sealing rubber is made of EPDM.
