Component

Application

Float angle valves are shut-off and regulation devices that mainly serve for automatic regulation of the water level in the tank, ie. to keep water levels at the desired height.

Performance

Opening and closing, ie. regulation of water flow depends on the water levels in the tank. The regulation is achieved through a float which is connected to the valve piston by levers. The position of the piston is conditioned by the position of the float, ie.  the water level in the tank, which depends on how to open the valve will be.

At a certain, maximum allowed water level, the valve will close completely.

The pressure on the piston is applied from the side and has no effect on its opening and closing, so it is completely relieved for these reasons. With this design, it was achieved that the closing of the valve is done calmly and without dangerous shocks in the pipeline.

Float angle valves are made for nominal diameters from DN 40 to DN 500 (mm), nominal pressures up to NP 16 (bar) and temperatures up to 80 (° C), with connection measures according to SRPS M.B6.011 and DIN 2501.

Material

The valve body, cover, piston lifters and levers are made of structural steel, the piston is made of stainless steel, and the sliding guides are made of special grey cast iron.

The valve float is made of sheet steel, it is protected from corrosion by plastic coating, and the sealing ring is made of EPDM.
